Spookiness and ghostly goings on during a haunted house weekend from Into the Blue

Spookiness and ghostly goings on during a haunted house weekend from Into the Blue

The world has officially gone vampire and werewolf mad with the release of Twilight New Moon, the new film starring the likes of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning.

In theory, the film is about the spooky goings on and what happens following the 18th birthday party of Bella Swan and her vampire boyfriend Edward Cullen, but in practice we all know it’s all about the RPattz getting his top off as much as possible.

If the box office receipts are anything to go by, teen angst horror films are still big money makers, so if you know someone who is slightly obsessed with spookiness and vampires, maybe a haunted house weekend would be right up their street?

These haunted breaks take place at six different castles and inns around the UK, all renowned for having ‘things that go bump in the night’, a ghostly presence and strange sightings. No need to be afraid though, as you’ll be with expert ‘ghostbusters’ who’ll lead the weekend.

Quite possibly the most gorgeous vampire ever? The RPattz's new movie Twilight New Moon is out now

We doubt RPattz will make an appearance (*sigh*), but learning all about the power of crystals, dowsing, table tipping and taking part in seances, this is sure to be as weekend of spookiness you’ll never forget that’s suitable for solos, pairs or a group of family or friends.

Katie Price walks from the jungle looking for a bit of peace and quiet

The perfect antidote to the jungle - head to the hills of North Wales for peace and quiet in a teepee

The perfect antidote to the jungle - head to the hills of North Wales for peace and quiet in a teepee

We really don’t know why Katie Price (or should that be Jordan?) went back in to the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here jungle for a second time. She can’t need the money, she certainly doesn’t need the exposure, so why did the twin-airbagged one do it?

She claims it was to get ’some peace and quiet’! Well, after doing six Bushtucker Trials in a row and having been nominated for a seventh, she finally cracked and walked.

We’d like to suggest the lover of all things pink (who is also newly single having dumped that dodgy cagefighter Alex live on telly to maximise those headlines) goes straight from the jungle into the forest. The tranquil forests of North Wales to be precise, with a teepee retreat.

What better way to really ‘get away from it all’. No z list slebs, no cameras and no eating bugs and drinking beetlejuice. Just real peace and quiet with your very own 21-foot teepee in Wales kitted out with comfy bedding and cooking facilities set in the gorgeous rolling hills near Dolgellau in Wales.

Included in the price is Reiki therapy, meditation classes and entrance to the neighbouring Centre of Alternative Technology. Which having visited ourselves, we can tell you is great fun for all the family and well worth the visit.

So there you go Katie Price, take our advice and head off to Wales for a teepee retreat to enjoy some real ‘peace and quiet’. And at £369 per couple for a weekend, it’s just a tiny percentage of your IACGMOOH appearance fee!
