Treat the little ones to kids' scuba diving lessons this summer
Despite the freezing cold wind and rain outside (or maybe because of ?!) we’ve been looking into our summer holiday. If you’re planning to take the family to the beach this summer, how about getting the kids used to being around water with a special introductory junior scuba diving lesson?
Even if they don’t want to take up scuba diving, it’s a great way to get them used to being around water and we reckon it’s also a rather special way to celebrate a birthday too. To do the scuba mini-course, the children don’t even need to be able to swim and it’s ideal for those aged between eight and 12 years old. Of course, all sessions are led by fully qualified PADI diving instructors who are experienced at teaching kids to dive.
Kids love the idea of getting kitted out in wetsuits and diving gear and it’s an amazing feeling when you take your first breath underwater. They’ll soon start blowing bubbles as they get used to the weightlessness of being in the water. All Bubblemaker kids’ scuba experiences include all the equipment, which is especially selected and adapted to be suitable for children.
The scuba diving for kids experience is also a great present to give, as each voucher is for two children to have a go at scuba diving and the vouchers, currently priced at £39, are valid for a full 12 months at various indoor scuba centres across the country, so they’ll have plenty of time to get organised and do the activity.
