You teen could be driving one of these fab Italian supercars - the Lamborghini Gallardo or Murcielago

These experiences never cease to amaze us. As long as they’re over 4′10″ (that’s 148cm) and aged between 12 and 16, your little car-mad darlings can actually get behind the wheel of some VERY expensive tin-wear driving supercars around the track.

We love the fact that there’s no need to have a driving license, as all driving is done on private race tracks. We also love the fact that their first driving experience could be in a seriously cool car like a Nissan GT-R, a Lamborghini or even a Ferrari supercar driving experience - what an amazing gift to give a teenager!

Of course, the youngsters aren’t just let loose on the track. With our newly added supercar driving experiences for kids in Leicestershire, all children spend 10 minutes in a Mini Cooper learning driving techniques. Then they are taken out on the track in a high-performance training car (something like  a Ford Focus RS), with the instructor showing them the driving line to take. Only then are the little driving stars allowed behind the wheel of their chosen supercar.

Or maybe they'd prefer the beefed up Nissan GT-R?

Or maybe they'd prefer taking the beefed up Nissan GT-R for a spin round the race track?

Whether they choose the Nissan GT-R, the Lamborghini Gallardo or Lamborghini Murcielago, they’ll get 10 minutes of track time to show you proud Mums and Dads what they can do, all with a fully qualified expert instructor by their side in the car.

We think these high adrenaline super car driving experiences make for amazing activity gifts for any young petrolhead, with everlasting memories - afterall, who could ever forget that the first car they drove on a track was a proper supercar!

Super spy day just for the kids

Move over MI6, this is all about MK1 as the youngsters get to learn all about the glam life of a secret agent on this very special day out just for kids in Milton Keynes.

Kids can learn some of those skills needed to be a great secret agent

Kids can learn some of those skills needed to be a great secret agent

James Bond isn’t anywhere to be seen, but the people running the show are REAL surveillance and investigation experts, so of course you won’t recognise them - they’re too good at going under cover!

You’ll spend around three hours on site, taking part in loads of hands-on workshops just for young secret agents. We loved the hidden camera and bugging device session - it’s like proper private investigation stuff!

There’s physical fun too, with a laser combat game and you’ll take part in a quick draw pistol competition - and no need to worry, dear parents, no shots are fired and it’s not  a real gun.

The grande finale is a special laser beam maze. If you’ve ever seen classic heist films like Entrapment or the very tongue in cheek Ocean’s 12, you’ll know what we mean. Imagine that the alarms are all linked to an web of buzzing laser beams, making it impossible to reach the other side…or is it? You’ll have the chance to use your brain, plan your route and test your bendiness trying to succeed. Great fun.

Even parents will enjoy this day out, as they’re invited to follow the progress of their progeny and take photos and videos to remember the day by. They might even get roped in to take part!

Another young motor sport ace called Lewis?

Young Lewis Redwood at the wheel of the Peugeot 106 Rallye

Young Lewis Redwood at the wheel of the Peugeot 106 Rallye

The other day we opened an email that made us feel all warm and cosy inside. It was from Tracey Redwood and her son Lewis who wanted to tell us how much they had enjoyed their Into the Blue experience and we love it when we hear from happy customers!

Lewis’s birthday present was a surprise junior rally driving experience at our rally school near Cirencester in Gloucestershire. At just 10 years old, Lewis is too young to have a driving licence, but that doesn’t stop this rally centre being able to show youngsters between the ages of  10 and 16 how to have some serious fun driving a rally car!

The baby petrolheads are taught by expert rally driving instructors on a one to one basis and each young rally star gets to drive 12 laps of the 1.5mile circuit in the fully race prepared Peugeot 106s. They will then be treated to a full-on, high-speed passenger ride with a proper rally driver at the wheel!

We loved Tracey and Lewis’s email so much we thought we should let their words speak for themselves: “My 10 year old son, Lewis, used his Into The Blue voucher for his Junior Rally Experience in Gloucestershire today. Holly and the team made us most welcome and Lewis had the time of his life!

“Having never driven a car previously, he was initially a little nervous, but the expert instruction from Tony put him at ease and he was soon changing gear and sliding around corners. Lewis says the experience was “awesome” and he can’t wait to go again. The professionalism and expertise of the team meant I was relaxed and not at all worried about my son at any point during the session. After the session I even opted for a whiteknuckle passenger ride with a pro driver myself - thrilling!”
