Dear Santa - we've been very good this year, so please can we have lots of funtastic activity gift vouchers from Christmas please?
Living in the middle of nowhere, we use the t’internet (as Peter Kay would say!) for everything from checking our poorly-looking bank accounts and ordering the groceries, to buying our Christmas pressies.
The internet is indeed great - we listen to the radio, browse online and then buy without once having to make the dreaded journey into town and battle out way through the crowds.
And if you thought activity gift voucher companies like Into the Blue only offer high-adrenaline speed junky type thrills, you’re wrong! Of course, there are plenty of high thrills in the flying and driving sections of the website, but there are some more unusual experiences to choose from too.
If you’re looking for a pressie for someone who’s quite a creative person, how about glass blowing in London or even a voucher to learn how to make your own jewellery? Everyone needs to relax at some point too and there is a good range of spa days and beauty treatments on the website all designed to help them chill out and feel good about themselves.
If the way to their heart is through their stomach, tempt them with cookery lessons, chocolate making workshops or a very special steam train dinner experience - guaranteed to be a tasty treat they’ll love.

Spend a day with Farmer Charlie and his lovely herd of Fresian cows
We’re keen to make more of the great outdoors, so we’ve been browsing the Outdoor Adventure section which is packed full of fun things to try like falconry, fly fishing and wildlife watching. We absolutely love cows, so the ‘Be a farmer for a day’ experience joining Farmer Charlie and his herd of dairy cows is right up our street…or should that be right up our muddy farm track?!
All we need to do now is get earning those pennies to pay for all these fabulous Christmas activity gifts we want to buy!
