We think Jedward could benefit from this…

What Jedward needs is a Superstar Singer experience - to learn how to sing!

What Jedward needs is a Superstar Singer experience - to learn how to sing!

Oh dear oh dear. Is it just us, or is this year’s X Factor turning into a farce with insiders revealing that tone-deaf duo John and Edward seems to be gaining the most votes from the public week in, week out.

We think the twins could do with a bit of help in the wardrobe department, so if we could get our paws on them we’d be booking them in pretty sharpish for one of Into the Blue’s colour analysis sessions. It wouldn’t even matter whereabouts in the country they were, as there are centres up and down the UK. The session, which lasts a good four to six hours, offers a fascinating insight into which colours are best suited to your skin tones, eye colour and lifestyle, all with the aim of increasing self-confidence.

Yes Louis, it's all YOUR fault we're subjected to John and Edward Grimes every week!

Yes Louis, it's all YOUR fault we're subjected to John and Edward Grimes every week!

Hmmm come to think of it, maybe Jedward already has bucket loads of self-confidence - who else would be prepared to get up on stage in THOSE lurid suits. Maybe we should be sending them on a Superstar Singer experience instead.

If their torturous murdering of Robbie Williams’ ‘Rock DJ’ and Ricky Martin’s hit ‘She Bangs’ is anything to go by, a few hours in a professional recording studio singing their little hearts out before burning the results onto a CD for them to take home might just make them wake up and smell the coffee…THAT THEY CAN’T SING!

OK, X Factor 2009 rant over. We feel better now.

Enjoy a spa day in central London with Karin Herzog products

Enjoy a spa day in central London with Karin Herzog products

We never thought we’d be writing about court cases and beauty products in the same blog entry, but here we are with our newly added central London spa day experience.

If it’s all about location, location, location, you can’t do much better than this. The hotel is right in the heart of London’s bustling shopping and theatre districts, with the likes of Regent Street,  Carnaby Street and Bond Street all on your doorstep. But this is no ordinary London hotel.

In its previous incarnation as a Magistrates Court, the hotel saw the likes of John Lennon, Christine Keeler, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Johnny Rotten and even Bob Monkhouse pass through the doors to face the judge. Today there are no judges to convince of your innocence, just a relaxing spa day to enjoy!

As well as the historical influences of the setting, you’ll enjoy the modern and very private spa area that the hotel has created. The spa has chosen to use Karin Herzog products, which have a great following throughout the world. Made in Switzerland, the products use an oxygen and water delivery system that means these elements react with the skin’s natural enzymes, allowing the water and oxygen to go deeply into the skin. In the process the oxygen kills any toxins, giving you a natural and deep detox from within.

Our spa day gift vouchers for one or two people include mini manicure and pedicure and full Karin Herzog facial as well as a shoulder and back massage. You will also be invited to spend time in the relaxation area, the pool and sauna too, making this spa day in central London too good to miss whether it’s a treat for you and a friend, or as a present.

Go on, go on treat yourselves to a lovers' spa day this Easter

Go on, go on treat yourselves to a lovers' spa day this Easter

We love chocolate very much, but we also love nothing more than the thought of spending some serious chill time with our other half, so we reckon that we’re not going to buy each other chocolate this Easter, we’re going to treat each other to a couple’s spa day instead!

There are two Amida spas to choose from; Twickenham in Middlesex or Beckenham in Kent. Seeing as the Beckenham spa is only minutes away from the Into the Blue HQ, we’ll choose to go there.

On arrival we’ll be treated to refreshments before getting changed into the complimentary fluffy robes and slippers for us to use for the day. Towels are supplied too, so all we need to remember is work out clothes and swimwear.

This experience day includes three luxury spa treatments. There is a head, shoulder and neck massage for both, followed by a facial for both. Then the lucky ladies get a manicure or pedicure, whilst the boys enjoy a scalp massage.

Of course you get to use the spa and gym facilities at the centre too, so you can guarantee that we’ll be making the most of the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, sanarium, steam room, plunge pool and relaxation areas. Actually, we won’t be bothering taking our work out gear - who wants to get sweaty in the high tech gym when you can just relax and stay in the warm steam and water instead!

The experience also includes a light lunch (as you don’t want to eat too much when going to the gym or swimming) and you have the whole day to relax and enjoy the facilities - that’s to say from 10:00 to 22:30 Monday to Thursday - making this a good value and relaxing little Easter pressie to ourselves!
