When you just can’t decide

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

Usually, we’re pretty good at making decisions and organising things, but sometimes when it comes to buying a present we just have absolutely no idea what to buy that person.

Take our Mum. We love her to bits, but we’re really not sure if she’d appreciate the indoor bungee jump experience we were thinking of buying for her 70th. Likewise, we know she’s OK with hopping on the plane for her regular one week hols in Guersney, but not sure she’d really delight in a microlight flight. And we know for a fact that she likes Guernsey because there are no motorways and most roads are limited to 30mph, so maybe that Ford Escort rally experience is a no-go too…

Watch out for our Mum crushing a Fiesta - not HER car, but it does look remarkably similar *checks to see if Mum's car is still in the garage*!

So, we opted for an Into the Blue activity gift token. These are vouchers in monetary amounts, leaving the lucky recipient to choose just what activity they’d like to do. Available in seven different amounts from £50 to £300, the vouchers can be mixed and match to meet the amount you want to spend in dominations of £50.

If you want to purchase a different amount, this can be done buy calling the Into the Blue sales team on 01959 578100, during normal office hours.

As with all Into the Blue vouchers, the activity tokens are valid for 12 months, so once the person has chosen what they want to do, all they have to do is contact Into the Blue and their monetary gift token will be turned into a gift voucher for their chosen activity. Activity gift tokens are an ideal choice when you can’t choose for them.

And in case you were wondering, our Mum, in a surprisingly brave move from a woman who has never driven anything bigger than a Fiesta, chose a tank driving car crush experience in Leicestershire - go Mum!
